Join the Los Angeles / Orange County SMTA Chapter for an in-person chapter meeting and technical presentation.

Technical Presentation:
Building Circuit Assemblies for Harsh Environments that Comply with the Cleanliness Standards in IPC J-STD 001J

As more circuit assemblies are deployed into harsh environments, the need for improved reliability has never been higher. The new IPC cleanliness requirements now require objective evidence, proving that a circuit assembly will perform reliably in harsh environments. A process monitoring protocol is also required under the new IPC standard.

This presentation will review the impact of harsh environments and the subsequent reliability of circuit assemblies. This presentation will also explain the new IPC cleanliness standard and provide detailed instructions on how to comply with it.
